So swapped trans and used all 94 expo, but only starter I could find was 99 expo. (same part #) It had 2 wires running to it. Im thinking the secondary wire could be ran to ignition but I have it bridged to primary hot right now. it starts but sticks. what have you guys that have done this swap do with the secondary wire?? Thanks

and the truck is 87 b2. stock starter was wired direct to constant positive. Expo was direct to battery positive and secondary to unknown, maybe ignition

doesn't the wires usually run
1->ground
2->starter relay

then from the ignition to the relay?

The heavy gauge wire goes to the + battery terminal. (or the battery side of the solenoid will work.)
The smaller wire goes to the + output of the remote solenoid on the inner fender. (This wire is what engages the starter.)

remote solenoid/relay same thing rofl couldn't remember the damn name lol. :icon_idea:

The little wire to the little post should be hanging out on one side of the solenoid all by it's lonesome.

All the other wires that go to the solenoid need to be on the other post.

yup main lead to positive battery, secondary to solenoid and she starts perfect! No more sticking! Thanks
