well almost done with one car project that was put on hold for 3 years...and now it is time to get back after an other one
my 1984 ranger with 2.8 and c4 4wd trans, the story of the truck is i got it for $200 and the frame was powder coded and cab re-done with new doors and all new front clip about 10 years ago.
and i slapped a bed, mirrors and lights on it also did the durraspark swap. and well now i want a 5 speed in it,
my plans for it now is a bigger rad and an e-fan for it and a 5 speed swap for sure. and i am trying to decide between two options for a trans
number one. swap in a fm146 trans with 2.9 clutch stuff. run 235s and kind of go for the off road street truck look from the 80s
number 2 swap in a m5od 2wd trans with 4.0 clutch stuff, swap in a 2wd exploder front end and an 8.8 with disk brakes and do an old school rake look to it. 15s out back and 14s up front.
these are the parts that i have laying around, and this will not be a DD. all it is going to be is a long term project that i can drive to a car show once in a wile. and run around town
