My clutch goes flat after a couple of days in my 1999 ranger 3.0 2WD. I did the bench bleeding of a new master cylinder and installed it. I also bleed the slave. After the bleeding, pedal gets hard and everything is fine but pedal goes soft in few days and I can't shift gears. No sign of oil leak but I think I have some air leak in some line that goes to slave. I am getting ready to take down the transmission but don't realy know what to look for to fiind the leak. Is it possible that slave is bad? A new clutch kid was installed by a shop last year but I don't know if they changed the slave. I appreciate any advise and ideas to solve this problem. Thank you

Try popping the line off the slave and test the pedal...if it goes soft then you have a leak or air in the line between the master and slave...if not...the problem is probably in the slave...

The connector at the slave should be like a quick release valve...once out of the slave it is supposed to seal and that would cause the pedal to be very firm...unmovable almost...but if it gets spongy or you see fluid leaking then you may need to replace the line/connector...otherwise...much more work involved with the slave...
