i have a 94 ranger 4.0 manual trans, and im really wanting to do a 302 swap, or possibly a 351 but i heard the 351 is to big, but im wondering how hard it would be to do a 302?
4.0 swaped to a 302 v8?

It will be very hard for you. If you need to ask "how hard is it?". I suggest searching and reading all the hundreds of posts, build threads, tech articles.... this way you can know if this project is within your budget and mechanical abilities.
Its a brutal statement but gotta_gofast is right. consider that out of how many people have made this conversion there is almost twice as many posts about questions and answers.. For the most experienced guys there is always challenges to arise.
Start reading and learning.. and then when you start document everything and post it.. people dont do this just to show off but also to learn.

do research then start it and work your way threw it no matter how much u research you will always have questions as you go. just make sure you take ur time and do it right first

The tech library is available so you can research these questions. Do some reading, I know its hard and might mean doing some work but it'll make you a better person for doing so.
