I used to be a regular here when my 01 was new, but have drifted away with just an occasional visit to skim the forums, but I am preparing to replace my 01 with a 2011, and have some questions. My 01 had the trailer package, which was unusual then, and it consisted of the 4.0 SOHC engine, the 4 speed overdrive transmission which I later learned was actually an F150 transmission, and the 410 differentials with 16 inch wheels. The one I am looking at also has the trailer package with the 4.0 SOHC, but the transmission is a 5 speed with over drive, and the differentials are 3.73. Has anyone had experience with this particular setup? Is the transmission dependable, and how will the gas mileage compare to my old one?
