Guess it's been a while, but I vaguely recall the tunnel ram.:icon_thumby: Mine's back to a single four with a mildly built roller 5.0. The 331 Six-pack I had in the Ranger is in my 77 Comet now.
 
What radiator are you running there? I see it's got a GM style inlet. Accessory drive is what?
 
Ouch. I notice the rev/shift light setting is past 11 LOL. So much for Spinal Tap's "turning it to eleven" LOL
 
baddad:cant really tell you what the rad's from...it was lying at a friends shop and it fit under the core support........its a temp. just for now.acc.drive is from the grand marq. donar car.belive it was an 85?

red85:but it goes to e-leven........(love that movie)just put it in and hadnt tweaked it yet........damn good eye you have there my friend....gotta get the white paint and tooth pic out so i can see them better.got the limiter on 5000 at the moment,shift light isnt set.........like to have never found that thing......mallory doesnt make it anymore...have to buy whole ing. set up for the limiter.
 
Almost forgot to ask... where did you find that tach anyway? It's not often that you can find something aftermarket that fits that well into a factory dash.
 
I have one of those tachs in my drag car. I would have set the tach before causing damage. you can crank it up after you get everything done.
 
red:it fit great .......with a little help from mister dremel.lol........found it on ebay

pony:took the tach pic before i bent the rod...lo.it went about 4k rpm when it happend........i think my main problem was it backed off...........i gotta run it a while longer and retourque everything.
