ok someone told me that if i put a flowmaster on a 4 banger it would be to much back pressur and wont run is that true?:icon_confused:
 
do you know any mods that i can do to make it a little quicker that are decently cheap??
 
Buy a Mustang?

Remove brakes.

Go downhill more.

5.13 gears and lawn mower tires.

Chinook jet engine in the bed.

What do you consider cheap?

I consider cheap, finding a Mustang, Explorer, T-bird, etc (V8 only) or Turbo Coupe for $500-1000, pulling the motor and going through it, swap it in, and make the truck a "little quicker". But thats just me.
 
routine mantenance, and keepin everything spic and span. Stepping all the way down on the gas pedal. replace pistons with cracked out hampsters.

Shouldn't he give them speed instead? He wants to go faster. Putting them on cocaine just cracks the head.

I think that is only a problem on the 2.9's...
 
Find a rusted out Turbo Coupe or Merkur donor car would be the cheapest plus you would have nearly every part you would need.

But...yes, it is all relative to what you consider "inexpensive"...and how deep your pockets are...and also where you live...

Speed does not, other than some of the mods suggested, come easily to a 4 banger (I never thought of my cylinders as hamsters because mine must have very big teeth with braces since they make such a chattering noise)...but it is possible to get more out of them...

Rear gears would be my suggestion...higher...or lower depending on what school you went to...4:10 would be nice...

I now think of upgrades as something you want to do once...so do it right!
 
well im wanting to put cold air intake
3 inch suspension lift.(what lift is the best way to go for light muddin?)
and i want to put 33's on it with 15 inch rims
and blacking th whole truck out im on a pretty tight budget and just looking for simple stuff to do to make my baby look and run good!
im not pretty truck smart but dont konw everything.
i feel dumb asking this but my truck is fule injected can i make it carb?
 
you're gonna black it out.... sorry... but how cliche.... I'm painting mine Walmart Spray paint Silver!! lol one of a kind hahaha;)
 
i know it is but im not doing it because everyone is i have always loved the look since i was a little kid
