Weird.
So how exactly do you get there? Public transportation or your parents? I've never heard of such a thing.

We weren't allowed vehicles as freshmen either. Its pretty common amongst the schools I applied to and that was fifteen years ago.

the longest ive been unable to drive my truck was for 5 days while down for repairs. that was a looooong 5 days.
now that i have a beater car to commute in, the truck stays parked for about a week at a time. theres nothing that makes a man appreciate a tall, 4x4, V6 truck with tight steering and suspension and well-balanced tires like driving a $600 ford escort for a week :D.

No freshman parking is really common around here too. My school doesn't have it. I got to park on campus freshman year, but I'm a commuter. It's only the freshmen who are living in a dorm who are not allowed to have a car. As far as I know, the only schools that do allow it around here are the state universities.

My daughter went to pitt, they weren't allowed cars there either until their Junior year. I guess maybe really small schools might let you drive as a Freshman or Sophomore. I would think Trade schools would let you drive also, since they tend to be smaller.

Jeez, I'm glad I didn't go to one of those schools. And I thought it sucked having to park a half mile from the dorms.

i mean come on, look at that truck in the pictures, wouldnt you miss it too?? i found out tho that i can park it on the streets, but i'd have to move it once a week to a different street for the street sweepie, but the neighborhoods around here are pretty scary, so i might be a tad sketchy to leave it there haha, but whatever i'd use it every day
