manaul transmission rebuild

should u be able to spin the input shaft of a manual transmission in neutral and the output shaft spin with it first rebuild and not sure if it is back togather right

try holding onto the output shaft while you spin the input shaft. if you cant hold the output stationary then somethings up.

chances are its just friction inside the case causing the output shaft to spin in neutral.

Yep, it's normal for a little friction to spin them. If you can't hold the output stationary like Wicked Sludge says, THEN you have a problem.
