My buddy is going to put a mechanical Oil Pressure gauge in his 86 Yota, 22R (carb).
Does the motor 'need' the old sending unit? In this case the switch as he has only a dummy light, which doesn't work anyway
So I guess my question is does the motor require the information from the oil pressure switch for the dummy light in order to run correctly, or can we just eliminate it ?
