I've had this mod for a couple of years. Now no spark. Background, '84 BII started skipping/lost power then stopped. No spark, found lots of carbon dust in distributor cap and noticed sending unit had been hitting star wheel and found loose sending unit. Replaced dist. w/rebuilt unit. Still not spark or only one flash from timing light. Replaced the ignition module and could get a few pulses, but would not start and now nothing. Checked igniton switch, getting battery voltage on start circuit(9-11v) when starting and battery voltage in run position(12v) on run wire. Couple of questions, what should be voltage coming from the pickup, I'm reading .02v-.045vdc with a fluke VOM. What should be the gap between the pickup and reluctor star wheel? Should the ignition box be grounded? The old was not, just mounted to the plastic wheel well. Any other things I've missed. Ohmed out all wires and no high resistance, everything measures good, best I can tell. I do not have a resistor in series with the coil in run. The coil mesures to spec, MSD Blaster Pril .8 ohms and sec 5K ohms.

Thanks
Bob
