im trying to rebuild the rear cab mount most of it is in good shape other than the top of it the hole is the size of the rubber bushing so im going to try welding a piece of 1/8" steel on top and on bottom :icon_welder:

but not sure how big the hole in the center of it should be where the body bolt goes through?? anyone know??

you know new cab mounts are only about $70 at the dealer

Damn, $70!?

Measure the shank of the bolt, I'd go a little bigger, maybe like an 1/8". I think they're like 1/2 or 5/8ish.

yeah super cabs are cheap they sit on a straight section of frame so they're the same side to side.a company on ebay sells heavy duty replacements for reg cabs that are universal for about $70 with bolt and bushing

it looks like a lot more work to replce the whole thing its rivited to the frame and i dont own a torch and its not rotted that bad only on top where the mount sets also the bracket is pretty big it goes all the way down the frame for like 10" or 12" inches and then over the top of the frame to where the front bed bolt goes through it

it's not that bad with a angle grinder and that part over the frame is problably rotted enough so it's not connected

its not rotted that bad hardly at all just where the rubber body puck sits it rotted out and fell through the bracket
