Axel shaft bearings?

I need to know because i have no experiance with axles, do i need to pack my axel shaft bearings with axel grease or does the gear oil lube them?
its a ford 9".

Gear lube does it all, althougb it is good practice when your putting new bearings in, to put some gear lube i em before you seal it back up. After all it doest take the lube sometime to make its way down the axle shafts.
