IAC Cleaning

Has anyone ever cleaned their IAC, only to have it make a loud humming sound after? Any ideas on how to make it stop?

dunno man..as long as its not hurting anything id say just crank the tunes up louder man!!

I know I read on here before about this, you will need to replace it once it starts doing that.

Well the next morning it was quiet again, but still hanging up...so I just bought a new one. All is back to normal again, thanks.

Mine in the 99 would hum only after warming up and being in front of an audiance. At the boat ramp trying to launch, driving in the gas station,ect. Then it belted out the blues. Best $$$ I ever spent when I replaced it.
