So does anyone here run a Superlift or Skyjacker lift kit with the new longer arms on their 2wd? What kind of flex/wheel travel do these kits have? Camburg and Autofab lifts claim 10-12" travel but seem a bit out of my budget. Im not building an al out race truck but just want a DD able to have a little fun on the trail, get a little air and not worry about braking stuff. So if I can find a kit with a little more wheel travel than stock that wont cost me $2K I'd be happy!!

Well Im still looking, but will probly be older, '89-'91 most likely. Im looking at a couple 2wd manual tranny single cabs.

Wheel travel on the Skyjacker kits is similar to those #s (maybe even a tad more), although if you plan to be jumping it, you won't get anything resembling those kit's performance unless you put some decent shocks on it. The SJ kit won't have the same clearance either (reuses your stock beams). The SJ Class II kits are still quite durable however (provided you don't strike the bracket on a landing).

IIRC, Autofab's kits started around $600, I would think you could get into one of their kits for about the same cost as a SJ bracket kit.
