Would it be bad for the front diff if only 1 hub was locked in and the other side open? It would only be driven a few miles like this
I had a bad weekend plowing snow with the old truck
 
Won't hurt anything.
 
I wouldn't do it if you have a locker or limited slip up front... But open diff, drive away all you want.
