hey everyone im back! the rockcrawler finally has a trans and i got a new dd. a 88 ranger stx. ill post pics tomorrow after i trade my 64 olds for her. im glad to be back! :headbang:

how u been smokeeater? been a long time in the running. so heres the story on my new ranger, i was helpin my pops get parts off a bmw a guy was parting out on cl. he had a 64 olds dynamic 88 that i was going to help do paint on for some cash. well he was interested in my subaru impreza. so we traded, even after the trans gave up on the was to his house. ive had my olds for about 2 weeks now. my plan was to dd it for a while...... :icon_rofl:

what a joke. lol the big block drinks too much fuel. so i was going to flip it for some quick cash. well my friend bought this ranger.ive rode in it one time and i wanted another :icon_thumby:

so after some talking and a eventful wheeling trip for my friend we have decided to trade. now im going to be back in a ranger :yahoo:

the specs are a 88 ranger stx, 2.9,5speed and manual tcase w/ manual hubs. shes got a little rust but it is good shape.. im so happy im in another ranger :beer:

. i will get pics as soon as shes home.

thanks everyone ive been doin ok, been trying to pull myself up. sadly my gradpa (who got me into RBV's) passed away from cancer. ive been in sorta a free fall but im pullin my head outta the dark. im getting there slowly. it was too dark to get pics, but ive already installed a cd player and hacked the half off muffler off. ill post pics tomorrow in daynight

it feels great driveing a ranger again :yahoo:
