Hey all, my name is Jordan. I'm in the HIllsboro/Beaverton/Portland area.

I've been through a lot of vehicles in my short life, but this is my first Ford...only second domestic actually. It's a spotless 1994 Explorer XLT. Loaded, leather, factory sub...and only 97k miles!

I just got it today and already have it modified a bit more to my liking :yahoo::beer:

Before (yes I know...it's teal...)

These tires clear ok with minor trimming, but looked a bit to stuffed...so I added a custom front spring spacer and added Warrior shackles to the rear giving 1.25-1.5" of lift which is perfect.

The lift was minor enough that I got it aligned with the factory bushings no sweat, popped on my Yakima basket (which may get an extension soon) and she's ready to roll. I'll get some better shots soon, including how perfect the leather is.

I'm working on a set of Gen II flares right now, I'll shoot them satin black for better tire coverage as the 3.25" B/S is making it poke a bit too much in the front. Also hoping to track down a late model 8.8 with 3.73 gears and posi. This doesn't feel too bad as is, but it would help around town (as this is my daily)

Hope you all enjoy.

nice truck, but ford never made a posi

Yes...obviously...just easier than typing limited slip... :thefinger:

Oh...and the bug guard is gone and side skirts are coming off soon too...

posi=chevy, trac-loc is pretty easy to type, l/s is even easier ;)

there are good chances you already have a l/s btw

Actually that makes sense. I was thinking it spun a single tire, but that was the '99 Range I almost bought.

FWIW, posi = General Motors :D

just because you have 1 tire fire, doesn't mean you DON'T have a l/s... lol the clutches might be worn out, but it is still technically l/s, with nothing more than flipping the clutches you can get a brand new grab, out of fully worn out clutches

gm=chevy, it's all the same...

gm=chevy=crap all the same.

:D

Nahhhh I like my Chevy.. occasionally.

Sweet ex by the way. I've been considering one but I want something smaller for my daily driver.
