Hello all,
Been to this site before, and finally decided to join. I have never owned a Ranger, but will be buying one in March, and picking it up on the 16th. Once I recover from the purchase, I will be looking for a '87-88 Turbo Coupe to do an engine swap.
Thought abut a 302 swap, but decided to go the turbo 2.3 instead because I think it will be an easier way to go since I am not modifying the turbo motor, just dropping it in, and won't have to change driveshafts, motor mounts etc. Lots of good info on this site regarding that swap, and I am pleasantly surprised to see a lot of other people have already done it.
