I'm doing the MAF conversion on my 2.9 but I've ran into a problem with the intake hose. No one on heres seems to know where to get one and the only one I can find the guy wants $100 for it because he only sells airbox, maf housing, and hose together. I have all except the hose. Any ideas on how I can het it from the airbox to the throttle body and look good. Maybe like a cold air setup?

Polished tube set up and run a cone filter. Check Ebay. There are a lot of items for Ranger on there. Just do a search on ebay for Ford Ranger polished intake and see what comes up and look for your year.

Thats the thing though. I wanna keep the stock airbox because my MAF meter is bolted to the airbox.

I thought Stray had this one nailed with his answer.

What piece exactly are you looking for? Just the elbow? Can you not just use the one from the speed density set up? They sell a modular system that has different pieces and fittings at the Autozone's here.

Lol thanks guys. I just stopped by autozone on the way home from picking up my girl from her work. Now I just need to decide whether to run from the stock maf location on the airbox to the throttle body or put an air filter in place of the airbox and use a maf adatper to a cone filter?

this was my thought too. spectre makes universal parts, elbows and couplers and such that you can get at advance/autozone. make it whatever shape and length you need to fit, and get couplers for each end.

edit: ya beat me. i was writing my post as you posted yours....
