200 Ranger Suspension

I need to know if I can change the passenger upper control arm from a two piece to a one piece control arm. Not sure why only one side has the two piece. The drivers side is a one piece.

2000 Ford Ranger
4x4 XLT 4.0 V6

Check that out. This diagram says 2003 but 1998-present rangers are the same so it'll work for yours. It looks to me that you're right, the two arms are different but it looks to be the way it should be. I dunno why it's that way, I'm sure someone here can let you know.
