Ya I like that body style too. 1999 to 2003 are my favorite, which is just like his. I just love the orange strip under headlights for some reason.

Awesome truck by the way. :icon_thumby:

Love it. Can I have?

09-13-2011, 11:09 PM
no way 4.0B2 this is my new baby and yea i love the power of the diesel 7.3, im just waiting for snow to come around so i can go play, the 20's are nice but i think in the new future im gunna go with some chome and black 20's just something to mix it up and once some money starts flowin again id love to do the 05-07 front end conversion, but first i gotta save up a little more, trust me the theory of "once you own a diesel, youll always want one around" is so true, the torque is just insane

09-13-2011, 11:14 PM
Don't do the conversion....

The 20's don't bother me to much with that size rubber. Some black and chromes might be nice! Get someone to photoshop the rims you're thinking onto your truck for looks.

09-13-2011, 11:24 PM
yea im in the process of having someone photoshop the rims to see what they would look like, and yea i was a little sketched on the conversion myself debating on it yet, no matter what though i am gunna do the 2008 tow mirrors, tailgate, taillights, and rear bumber, in time of course, everything looks so much better that way i think......on the diesel forums though they are all about being pricks, if it isnt theres, they hate it ive gotten a lot of bashes by em, all the way down to the molding on the doors, but i guess everyone has an opinion haha

09-13-2011, 11:31 PM
I guess the 08 conversions wouldn't be THAT bad lol. I like the 08 tow mirrors. I just think it's really dang clean and look awesome as it. Its the basic starting of my (realistic) dream tow rig. Id just need something to tow! Lol

Nice rig! My Ranger will be gone tomorrow or Thursday, and they still are letting me stay (I think :icon_confused:).

I didn't move up as big as you, I went to an F150 Supercab.

09-14-2011, 12:00 AM
well ill be around because my brother has a crazy 4bt conversion in mind, for my old ranger, i basically had to move up just to tow my pontoon, boat, decoy trailer, and car trailer. either way i am very very pleased with the truck, but i still want a early 90's ranger to play with, and go fast hahaha even if i wasnt around id stay on this site, by far the most organized, friendliest, best forum on the web, cant thank TRS enough

Exactly, and I'd add the word helpful to your list. I've still been getting my questions on my F150 answered on here. There's a huge wealth of information from many on TRS.

I have seen these pictures a while back. I remember the photo of the boat and the truck from either Ebay or another internet site. Where did you buy the truck?

09-14-2011, 10:54 AM
i took all these photos myself but let me tell ya the truck does have a twin, not sure on the boat part? but the twin was featured in a 2001 edition of diesel power mag, anyways i bought the truck from eden prarie MN. It only spent one year in MN the truck was originally from GA its very very clean. 10 years old and underneath there isnt any rust the powercoat is just starting to show some on the axles but other than that its very clean
