I have been doing a lot of research over the past month on how to do this and still don't know every thing i need.

the 94 ranger is a 2.3l 5 speed 2wd and the 150 is a 5.0 auto 2wd.

what i want to do is this.
1 change over all suspension and braking components
2 possible 302 and transmission swap, i currently have a 5 speed and the f-150 is auto. not sure what transmission at this time.
3 swap the rear axle out of the 150 to the ranger

i'm trying to find out if i can take all of this off the 150 and transplant it all to the ranger. the 150 is more or less a donor at this point i like my ranger better. i want to keep it as a 2wd looking to do a semi prerunner sit up but still want to drive it every day.
the other idea i had was to swap the suspension and mod the 2.3l for a little more power. i'm not looking to do extreme off road in this truck just something to have some fun in and still hook a trailer to tow around karts and dirt bikes.
if you guys have any advice or links that might help please feel free to help out.
i'm looking to do this on a small budget as i'm military have a wife and kid and not much extra money to go around. so i'm hoping you guys have some good ideas.

None of the F150 suspension or axles will fit the Ranger without major mods. The engine will, but you'll need to swap the oil pan for a foxbody unit.
