Front Axle U-joint Question

I need to replace my 3 u-joints in my front axle on my 88 Ranger. Is it possible to replace the third u-joint on the passenger side, closest to the diff with out dropping the diff? The outers will not be a problem. Is there enough room to get the c-clamp press in there?

So say they have but your best thing to do is remove the clip inside and perform a c-clip eliminator on it for future service.

Thanks for the reply and let me thank this site for showing me that the reason the right U-joint failed, was because when I reassembled it after replacing my ball joints a few years ago, I DID NOT PUT THE AXLE "IN PHASE" OR LOOP TO LOOP. It is back in phase now and I am planning on another 200K miles of trouble free wheeling with it. I would have never figured out why it had broken 2 caps on the joint.
