Hey guys, I'm still a noob around TRS, but figured i'd post up anyway.

I'm getting close to buying a body lift for my Ranger. I want to get some new tires on there before winter, since my puny 255x70x16 Goodyear Wranger RT/S's weren't the best snow tire last winter. I'm thinking some 33x12.50 Duratracs, since i've heard all good reviews about them.

Anyway, the only thing holding me back from buying the lift is knowing I don't have the tools to do it myself. Also, I've never done a lift before (excpet for the leveling coils/aal on my Bronco), and it would be helpful if some people with experience were around so I could get it all done in one day.

Would anyone be willing to help? Like I said, I have minimal tools. I can probably do the lift at my house, as long as my landlord allows it.

I of course would provide drinks/pizza.

Thanks,
James

If I was there, I would definitely jump in. There are quite a few members in Denver, which isnt too far from you. Perhaps having a meet at one of their places may yield a better turnout.

Can you Fedex a slice over in my direction?

Yeah, i've actually met a decent amount of members. I've been over on Ranger-Forums and FordRangerForums for awhile. Plus there's another group some of us are apart of called RockyMountainFordTruckClub. They are all great people.

Update...

I purchased the lift tonight, and it will be here on Monday-Tuesday. I have a place to install, and was thinking of doing it the weekend of Sept 17th-18th.

Neither me or my buddy have air tools though. I know it can be done without them, but it helps a lot to have them. So if anyone wants to help, and have some that can be used, i'd really appreciate it!

The location of the install is Thornton. Around 128th and Colorado.

Hand tools is all that is needed. Take care when removing the bed bolts and the torx bit.

Good luck.
