I have a 89 2WD Ranger chassis with 83-88 drop beams and knuckles, 3" drop spring and shocks for circle track racing.

I just finished my 6" drop in the front. I have 2 major problems.

1 - My tie-rods are laying up against my sway bar. Seriously touching. Are there 2-3" longer sway bar links available? Solid? F150?

2 - I cant achieve correct toe. With the adjustments all the way in, it still has almost 2" toe out. Should I use a drop arm? Shorter drag link? 83-88 drag link? Shorter tie-rods?

Thanks in advance.

im no expert on drop suspensions, but it sounds like a raised pitman arm should cure all your ills, toe and sway bar interference.

they make do make extended sway bar links for lifted trucks. you could try chassis tech or something.

Problems solved.

Installed longer sway bar links.

Cut 1/4" off each side of adjuster sleeve and 1" of tie-rod ends.

Thanks agian.
