Parking Brake/Adjuster Spring

There is a torsion spring that attaches to the parking brake lever somehow, but I don't remember how, and I can't find any info. Can someone please tell (preferably show) me how this spring goes in???

Also, does the thin washer go behind the anchor plate?

I figured out how the torsion spring hooks onto the adjuster, however I can't figure out where that flat washer in the photo goes, or an equally sized wave washer (flat washer w/ a curve to it) goes.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated because this has me at a dead stop and I need to get my truck together before we get hit w/ this rain from the hurricane on Friday.

The springs to the right of the blue springs are the wave washers I am lost about.
