I would like to instal a set of disc brake in the rear for my ford ranger, and I want to do my own bracket, does anyone knows what's would be the measurement? I need the measurement for center to center bolt, and center where the seal goes.

I want to put rear disk brakes on mine too but not sure about making my own brckets (may do that instead) but heres a link to a wite up on somebody that did this to a ranger rear end and it doesnt matter if its a 7.5 or 8.8 ranger rear end other then what it says in it on what trucks it wont work on.

The tech librbary also has a write up on it too and a place that sells backing plates but are way over priced. My problem is finding the backing plates for a mustang GT. If you do make your own backing plates post up pics and keep us updated on it and all the details and whatnot.

Best link for the parts is Summit. They sell the rotors, backing plate, moan plates (not used by a lot), the dust shields and bolts. Cost $175.88 for the pair. Ford part number is M-2300-M.

ya know you can get a explorer 8.8 from a junk yard for like 300 that comes with disc brakes.
