I want to put an 8.8" axle in my 2001 Ford Ranger Edge. Will an 8.8" axle work from a 95? Should It be a pretty easy swap?

Make sure it has a VSS mounted on the top, then yes.

No it does not. I really wish it did though. It has a 7.5 w/o limited slip and 3.73 gears. Lame!
