Called my locale salvage yard and talked to them about some Leaf springs for my Bronco. They wanted $100 for the set. Too me this seemed extremely expensive. Good or bad buy?

Too expensive in my opinion. I've always scored JY leaf packs for $50 or less...

i bought explorer leafs along with both doors and the tailgate off a 89 ranger for $100. you should be able to get them cheaper.

There are some salvage yards that aren't too nice on their pricing. I'd shop around.

Try your local Pull -A- Part. They generally have the best prices in my experience.

Yea I can get brand new ones for less than $250.

Well that sounds cheap to me.... I got mine for 65 buck a piece or like 130 from a pick and pull yard and that was the cheapest i could find them. The local dealer wanted 300 a piece and an offroad shop wanted almost 500 a piece.... But I also live in alaska I guess.
