Replacement Engine in 1989 Bronco II

I'm wondering what problems I might have replacing a wasted 2.9L V-6 in my 1989 Bronco II, with a 1984 2.8 L carburated V-6. I have a good running 2.8L but really don't want to get into a lot of problems as it may be easier to find a reasonably good 2.9L.

Mostly wondering if it will bolt up to the tranny okay (maybe different engine mounts?) and wondering if I'll run into a lot of electrical/electronics issues with this swap, considering the four years difference in age. Will I have other issues that I may not have thought of?

I can do the mechanical swap out but just maybe not worth it if there are a lot of other hastles.

Anyone who has experience with this? I'd really appreciate good feedback, not guesses.

Thanks in advance!
Steve

because he already has a 2.8 readily avalible, seeing how its a carbed engine, theres not alot of wiring, good time to duraspark it. the fuel system will have to be changed out too, biggest hassel would probly wiring up your gauges to it
