Okey I got the rest of my truck smoothed out, its runing but sadley the 3.0 would't fall out of a tree. So I got a 95 f150, auto, manual tcase.
I'm wanting to swap the F.I engine to a carb, all ready know how to do that.
Bigest part is after I get it in there make a new t-case cross member, and do the outer things. It comes down to the ingition and wireing. Okey to put it bluntley were do I start? lol Do I just yank the computer out? and run manual stuff; gauges, t-case and all of that. and on the fireing, Would I need a vacume adavance dizzy?
I'm goin to be buliding a engine over the winter for this if my litte shit-10 will pull thro. lol And I want this truck to be simple as can be. So carbed, manual ever thing in a 97.

Whatever distributor you use, you'll need one with a steel cam gear for the roller cam in your 5.0. You'll need to swap oilpans to a dual sump foxbody pan, or a steel explorer pan. If you go with a points ditributor fitted with a Pertronix, the wiring is simple, just feed it off the existing hot wire to the coil.
