ive got a 1994 3.0 a4ld supercab with a 3.73 gear set and its 2wd. ive finally got a little money since buying the truck and i want to lift it and put 31's on it. if i do this will i have to change anything and will the 3.0 have enough power to handle the different tires.

that 3.o will not have no problems pushing 31"s ,i have 33"s/3.73 and a 2.9 and its all right , when i had 31"s it was just fine

The 3.0 is a lot different than a 2.9. It makes more H.P. but it needs Rpms. With 31's on it you'll want 4.10 gears.
