I was looking for flareside box for my 1996 Mazda B3000, and I came across a 1999 Ranger 3 door , for 500 bucks , it needs the following parts , windshield , rear window(the panel behind the drivers seat is broken and needs to be replaced), radiator support , and roll pan . There is the usual rust along the bottom of the doors and there was a Lund visor on the cab (a few holes to fill) .The engine and transmission have 160,000kms on them . I will be picking it up on August 11th and hope to have it on the road by the end of October . I will be updating this after I pick up the truck .

At least the stepside is in one piece. seems like I'm always seeing stepsides that are all busted up.

But man I love the stepside.

So do I, thats why I bought it ,I was look for a stepside to replace the box on my mazda, the added bonus getting the ford on the road is getting a better front suspension

The step side box in now on my Mazda , it was a big job , i have to replace the right side rear hanger and shackle plus remove to broken bed bolts , at least they came out with a bit of heat . Other than that it was a straight forward job .
