Alright, So I have been a lurker on here for a little over a year. I love checking out everyone’s rigs. Watching everybody on here build they’re rigs motivated me to start building one of my own. I started with building my DD. Threw a 4” kit in and some 33’s under it and ran it. Love wheeling it but its time for something dedicated. So here is the build plan.

87 Ranger Reg cab mounted on a shortened (107”) 95 F250 chassis.
King Pin 60 front w/ lockrite, factory 4.10’s, leave sprung
Sterling 10.25 welded, factory 4.10’s with disc brake conversion, leaf sprung
5.8L EFI from the F-250
C6 Trans
203/205 doubler
42/15/16.5 Pitbull rockers (not sure about wheels, Thinking H1 hummer beadlocks)

Only piecse I’m missing on the build list is the 203 case and tires. I’m Hoping to start the tear down of the F250 on sunday lots of pics to come. For now bring on the questions

Managed to pick up my trans and get the box off of the F250 in the last couple of days. The Frame doesn't look to bad a lot of scale but nothing concerning. Got pictures but have never posted pics in the forums, what's the best method.

Sweet deal man! I use photo bucket. If you take the direct link from the picture in photo bucket, and place it in the little mountain icon, you see in the tool bar above the text when you post, it will import the photo. Make sure to delete the http:// thats provided when you click on the icon, otherwise it won't post.

Heres the D60. Not sure about anywhere else but around here these things are nearly impossible to find!! especially for under $1000. Yes I'm aware it is from a dually and I will have to convert the hubs to some SRW units but I managed to get for a lot less then a grand!

And heres the progress made on the F250 so far. Since these pics I've removed the rear sway bar and cleand the scale off the frame and turns out there are a few soft spots that are going to need to be addressed. more pics in another couple of days.

Got most of the front end off of the 250. I got the next week off so my goal is to have the cab stripped off of it and the C6 in so I can test fit the ranger cab. should have a few more pics in a few days.

The bike is my old mans and its a 76 Honda 750. He has an almost identical bike, a 75 750 thats got a 812 kit in it but that bike is currently in pieces.

Managed to get the 250 stripped down to the frame and drivetrain.

With everything stripped off of it I got a good chance to look everything over. The motor is going to need a new oil pan and valve covers. The back half of the frame isn't has a quality as I had hoped, which isn't to big a deal since I'm cutting the back half off anyway to shorten it. It just means that I now have to find the back half of a frame that is solid to burn in. I plan on pulling the trans, tcase, and shafts in the next couple of days. Did a little measuring the C6 is like 6" shorter then the E4OD. This shouldn't be a big deal since this truck was offered with a C6 from the factory, the trans mount and cross member are the same, just means I have to move the whole cross member a head about 6"

Figured I'd post a little update since it's been a little while. Got the trans and t case out the C6 is ready for a test fit! school just started back up and that has been sucking up a lot of my time! should be able to get more work done on the rig this weekend. Im just itching to get the ranger body on this thing for some motivation.
