I have a 95 Ranger with the 2.3 and I'm going to be pulling the motor and tranny in a few days to replace the transmission and fix oil leaks on the engine. I'll post up pics of the entire ordeal so y'all can see. I love the pic posts too....lol!

My engine has a lot of miles but I don't have the money right now to rebuild or replace it so for now I'm just going to fix all the oil leaks it has because I'm tired of leaking on everyones driveway......and my own.....lol.

I want a little more pep out of the engine, not a turbo or anything like that. I'm either going to buy a replacement engine (low mileage) or a cheap junkyard one (more likely) and rebuild it. I'm considering this cam from CamCraft because I'm sure it'll give me a little more performance over stock. I'll be happy with just 10 more hp or so. I still want reliability though and for this to be a DD. Will this be ok? Here's the link:

If this is'nt the page then here are the cam specs: 200 degrees @ .050 with .420 lift. Stock is 188/.388

Thanks for any and all advice.

You could check out Bo-port.com. He specializes in turbo stuff, but I think his cams would also wrok well in an N/A application. If you have any questions about his cams, you can just contact him. He has a good name among the turbo crowd.
