Started this build last august. Just completed. It was a 99 stepside 2.5 4 cyl stick with 150,000 miles. I Took it down to bare frame and clean and painted. The complete front suspension has been replaced with new powder coated parts. I started with a 1989 5.0 roller block only (new) It has forged pistons, all ARP Bolts Comp roller cam, lifters, rockers, springs.60cc Gt40P heads with all new valves. The trans is a TCI C4 manual shift. All factory gauges are working. On the dyno it was 396 HP. Its FUN to drive. I have loads of pictures of the build and a complete list of parts, with #s and vendor if anybody needs help. I would gladly send anything you might need to help with your swap. The truck is strictly show now. Just placed in the top 40 out of 250 customs at a local show.

Hey Dave, I recconize that truck from Malcolms site! What cam did you end up using? Built to be a show truck from what I remember but you will have a lot of fun on the street with that one.

I used a Comp 270/270 533 lift and comp springs to match. Its a Blast to drive and smooth as silk cruising down the hwy. The side pipes have a fantastic sound not too loud and not soft at all. Nice a deep.
