Explorer bumper valence?

Would a 95-98 Explorer lower valence fit on a third gen Ranger bumper? It kind of looks like it would fit. Anybody try it before? I like the look of the Explorer fog light valence and really would not prefer installing the Ranger fog light valence to get valence mounted fogs.

according to my parts guy the bumper on the Explorer is wider than on the Ranger
