06+ mirror swap update


I second this notion. I followed the tech. article from Ranger Forums and they have MUCH better method for installing 06 and up mirrors versus our article here at TRS.

Our article requires drilling massive holes in your doors, where as theirs does not.
 
the link i posted covers both methods. the old (drilling) and the new (dremmel). i like the fact that you could switch back to stock mirrors if need be with no modifications.
 
Ok. I can't just go to their site and take the information. Someone will have to submit it.
 
i wish i would have seen that article before i did mine, Rsh showed it to me 2 or 3 days after i drilled my doors. oh well, the mirrors were on the truck for 14 years without coming off so hopefully they wont need to in the next 14 years.
