So, in an attempt to get some of the bigger chips and scratches out of my truck I picked up a little bottle of duplicolor. My paint code is EG, which is supposedly Electric Currant Red (Metallic). I was already doubtful as my truck sure doesn't look like it has a metallic finish, so I tested it out on the bed... the results were not good. I didn't put a clearcoat or anything else on it, either.

Any other EG's out there use duplicolor? Is there a better brand to use? Or would a layer of clearcoat even it out?
