8.8 E-brake question

I am doing an 8.8 swap on my 84 ranger and am wondering if I am going to have to use the 7.5 E-brake or the 8.8s.

i am assuming you mean on the drums themselves and yes you can use the one on the 8.8

What 8.8 are you putting in? What brakes? The cables are the same for 9 or 10" drums. Both sizes were optional on the '84 but, all I've ever seen was 9". If you're using the 10" drums on the 8.8 then you need all the 10" parts inside the drum.

Your existing e-brake cables will plug right into a drum brake 8.8.
