Hi all,
There is a heat sheild [i think thats what its called] adhered to the bottom of the truck bed right over the muffler, mine fell off, my question is, can anyone tell me what kind of adhesive is used to hold that on ? I would think it would be some sort of high-temp, non-flamable adhesive ?

It should be fastened by small bolts (at least 2)-
 
thanks for the response, but just checked, no bolts just adhesive
 
Well.......now's a good a time as any to do one of the following:

Pop-rivets
Self-drilling screws
Bolts

Use some hi-temp RTV sealer around the fasteners, and this should work.

LOL I'll advise on some random stuff......but life-threatening issues are way outside my qualifications!
 
If you don't want to drill, then use Liquid Nails...it will hold that sucker together!!!!
