Howdy all! Well, if I'm honest I was never a Ford guy, but I've been swayed by a friend of mine and now I'm very excited to get myself a ranger and start work on it! The plan is to get myself a 4.0L manual 2wd, then make myself a street truck to use for a couple years. I already have a toy XJ for playing offroad, but once it gives out on me, I'll be installing a transfercase in the ranger, and making it my new toy.
The initial plan when I get it is to swap in a D1 8.8 in the rear, leave it spring-under, and lower (level out) the front. I'll also replace the seats with a set of Corbeau or Sparco seats and putting in an explorer center console.
Sooooo ya, that's the plan for now. I'd appretiate any input or suggestions anyone has.
