I have a 97 ranger, and i was wondering if a 2000 60/40 seat will fit in my regular cab 97. I also have a box behind the seat, but i dont need to put my stock seat up that far at all.

if you get the newer seat out of a single cab truck, then yes it will be a direct swap. If you get the newer seat ouf of an extended cab truck, then you will need to swap your seat tracks to the new seat (4 bolts per seat track)...
