In tank electric fuel pump enough? Just checking...

1993 Ranger

Swapping in a 460 with a 750 AFB, Stealth intake, D0VE-C heads, and unknown cam (will be as big as I can run).

Will the in-tank electric pump keep up with a carbed big block? I'm not seeing any reason why not... but there's a lot of things I don't know :icon_confused:

for the cost of it, and how much it looks like you are putting into your truck, i would put an extra pump in just to be safe... i wouldn't imagine that your stock one would be good enough because it's designed to supply a small 4 cylinder, maybe 6...

It might keep up at idle. Thought I had a chart showing flow requirement based on motor and rpm - found it. It's based on FI but calculates the fuel pump required.
