Well I better start off explaining a little about myself. I'm 14 and I'm from the badger state. We have snow up here a ton and i also love snowmobiling. Well, my tools arnt the best but i make them work. I dont make much so it's kinda slow going but we'll get er done.
Ok now onto the truck, Its a 78 ford f150 4x4 which i named Mud Eater. I traded a 88 chevy s10(running and driving) for this truck. It ran before i tore into it. I'm replacing and repainting some parts to dress it up a little bit. It has a 300 strait 6 with a 4 speed. It has a dana 44 upfront and a 9in rear. It has a flatbed at the moment.
Plans:
Repair all rust
Paint it
Get engine runnin good
Repair bad wiring
Have fun with it!!
Future plans
prolly will never happen but i like dreaming haha)
351 or 400

soon!!!! but anyway i took the fuel filter/water separator off the carb. I hooked up a clean gas line to it and tried to blow through it and could barely blow through it. I decided that since im getting a new fuel filter, i might as well rip this one apart and see what it looks like inside. It is sick. there was a TON of crap in it and i dont know how gas got through there. I think im gonna replace the gas lines too because they're metal and i bet theres a bunch of crap in there. This makes me happy in a way because i know that this might fix some of my problems
