Anybody in the area, or been there, know of some good places to eat, enjoy a beverage or ten, etc. I'll be heading down there next week and would like to hit some of the local restaruants (not all the big chain ones).

I'm an hour down the road (17).

As much as I'd like to help you out, I steer clear of that urban area as much as humanly possible. I have heard good things about the Norfolk waterfront / harbor area, but have zero personal experience.
