Well have YOU pulled the codes?

I hope they don't pull codes..i've had a CEL for around 5 years now, that won't go away no matter what i do..
I hate to sound like an ass but if you still get the code after you've attempted to fix it, you still have a problem, if you've replaced everything to do with the code, your problem could be in the wiring, etc...I know on my old ford contour, it had an o2 problem. I replaced the plug, but it still said that it was a problem even though the car showed no problems at all. What happens if i get everything fixed on it, but the code still pulls?
