First off let me say I only paid $150 for my Undercover used. The guy I bought it from had bought it used because he thought it would fit his son's Toyota, it didn't. I do need to replace the seal and locks but it's obvious that the seal was damaged off of the truck, and the reason for the locks is because the cover on one is broken. The lock still works fine though, and it seals great considering. IIRC they changed locks styles since mine was made, new ones look a little sturdier. I think the undercover was a steal for the price I paid and would be a good buy at regular price. I've also seen the armor lid, only saw the outside, but remember thinking that they looked like they could be made by the same company.
Forgot to mention the only real problem I had with the Undercover. Previous owner discovered that the light wasn't working right(knocked off the price a little for replacement light), it would come on sometimes but it was dim and flickering. Got it home removed the light assembly, I thought it might be corrosion. The battery lid was loose! Uses watch type batteries and with the lid being loose it was not making good contact. Bout $50 for locks and seal it'll be good as new!
