What is wrong with my car? Every time i accelerate especially under heavy throttle my engine keeps cutting out, sometimes it doesnt do it, but most of the time it does. I did a complete tune up and a new fuel filter and it still doesnt fix the problem. Can anybody help me?

EDIT: my bronco is probably the slowest one out there.. I can barely do 80, it takes like 30 seconds it seems with a car full of 3 other people to do 0-60, every hill i encounter makes me have to drop 3 gears, i just dont know what to do...

Can it be the throttle sensor?

You replaced the fuel filter. Does your truck only have one? Some (mine included) have two, one near the front pump and another closer to the tank in a vertical cylinder on the frame rail.

How are your plugs & wires? Last time you serviced your distributor? O2 sensor? Checked for codes?

I just put a new cap, rotor, plugs and wires on it. I think mine has 1. How do i check for codes?

Well the car has gotten even worse. even on the smallest hill you have to drop down like 3 gears just to make it up. I feel like i'm pulling 80,000 pounds behind me...
